Urban Solitude

The exhibition Urban Solitude ails, offers an overview of Wim Wenders’ gaze into the metropolitan landscape, bringing together an array of distant spaces: from the American West to the far East, passing through Russia, Italy and his native Germany. These are ‚portraits‘ of cities – often the underlying protagonists of his films – which become records of history and aesthetic manifestos, preserving details that elapsing time often seeks to transform or erase.
