Wim Wenders received Antonio Feltrinelli Award
Rome, June 14, 2025 – Wim Wenders has been awarded the International „Antonio Feltrinelli“ Prize for the Arts by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, the oldest scientific academy in the world. The award ceremony took place as part of the solemn closing event of the 2024–2025 academic year at the historic Palazzo Corsini in Rome, in the presence of Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
The „Antonio Feltrinelli“ Prize is granted to individuals who have distinguished themselves through exceptional achievements in the fields of science, art, literature, or humanism. In the field of Art/Cinema, the international prize is awarded only at longer intervals and honors outstanding artistic contributions that transcend national borders.
