6th Wim Wenders Grant: Call for Applications

Awarding ceremony in September in Düsseldorf

In co-operation with the Wim Wenders Stiftung, the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW has announced the call for applications for the sixth annual Wim Wenders Grant. The grant is intended to serve as support for young filmmakers from Germany, in particular from North Rhine-Westphalia, who are pursuing unique visions for the development of new narrative means and the enrichment of our common visual language.

In the scope of a two-stage application process, a jury, chaired by Wim Wenders and also featuring Filmstiftung CEO Petra Müller, is responsible for selecting the recipients of the grant, which is endowed with an annual budget of up to 100,000 euros. Applications should be submitted to the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW by July 31, 2019.
