The Culture Forum will take place on Tuesday, November 6, 2001

The forum will address the youth of America, the next generation
of creators. Attendance will include 900 students from NYU,
The New School, Columbia, School of Visual Arts, FIT, Pratt,
and Cooper Union.
"In the wake of the attacks on America, the world has
changed forever," Contents magazine publisher Joseph Alfieris
explains. "Political and economical shifts are being addressed
daily. We, at Contents believe that the change in culture of
America and its perception must be addressed," he adds.
Some of the issues to be addressed include: The changing perception
of culture and style in light of the tragedy. What is now appropriate
content for the arts? How is the business of "taste-making"
changing? Is it changing? How has the reevaluation of these
questions affected the broader cultural world?
"We believe some of the most important topics and ideas
concerning the creative arts will occur here and provide an
extraordinary opportunity and forum for young artists, writers,
designers, and filmmakers to gain perspective from their mentors,"
Alfieris adds.
Award-winning Contents Magazine is devoted to the brightest
