"Vill Passiert" - Wim's new Project in postproduction (Excerpts from an article in the "Hong Kong Standard")

Given the delightful experience Wenders had doing Buena Vista Social Club, it is not surprising that the next Wenders producion will be another music documentary. Fans of his early works will rejoice: it will be a homecoming for Wenders, both geographically and esthetically. The protagonists are Bap, a band that hails from Cologne, near Wenders' hometown of Dusseldorf, who have been marching on now for two decades. The film will be loosely based on the format of a tour-film, making it a genuine "road-movie" in its own right...

...Following in the footsteps of Lisbon Story and A Trick Of The Light, this new project will assuage fears among Wenders loyalists about any sellout to Tinseltown. Wenders might be providing entertaining stories involving Hollywood celebrities at the moment - but rest assured, he will not be joining that crowd anytime soon.
