A special edition, 10 disc box-set of Wim Wenders films released by Anchor Bay in the UK. With the exception of three of the titles, Wings Of Desire, Paris, Texas and The American Friend, none of the titles have ever been released on DVD in the UK before. You''l notice that they say "until the end of the world" comes in 3 dvd, instead there's a fourth extras dvd. "Buena Vista" is now edited by Cecchi Gori Home video, but it was previously released by Elleu. The other are rather similar to the french/american editions (the same special contents, commentary by WW etc.) except "Scarlet Letter" with "Die Insel" as bonus. Ripley Home Video (Rome) is doing the best work on these movies!

Regional Codes

Also referred to as Country Codes, or Zone Locks, these are optional codes that the movie industry imposed on DVD-Video specifications. Players will be coded by region, and these players will not play DVDs coded for a different region. It is expected that only first release DVD-Video titles will have those codes. DVDs with no regional codes will be played by any DVD player.
