Samson Mucke is the US Producer for Wim Wenders. He has been residing in Los Angeles for the past few years and has produced various projects for Wim Wender’s two production companies: Wim Wenders Productions, Inc. and Emotion Pictures, Inc.

Most recently Samson worked as the UPM on “Don’t Come Knocking” written by Sam Shepard and directed by Wim Wenders. Prior to that he produced the independent feature “Land of Plenty” starring Michelle Williams and John Diehl financed by IFC and directed by Wim Wenders. Mucke also produced and co-wrote the award winning short film “La Torcedura” starring Wilmer Valderrama.

Mucke was the Line Producer for Wim Wender’s segment “The Soul of a Man”, executive producer Martin Scorsese’s seven-part documentary mini-series “The Blues”.

A part-time DJ while living in Munich, Samson also produces music videos and commercials for the European market. Music videos include the legendary German rock group “BAP”, the Scottish rock group “Idlewild” and the British electronica sensation “Mylo”. Commercials include the popular German outdoor clothing company “Jack Wolfskin” and “Audi A3” , working with artists such as Penelope Cruz.

In 2001, he created an Internet-based soap reality show which allowed viewers to influence the script by voting online after each show. Mucke produced this successful interactive twenty-part show, which earned several awards.

Currently, Mucke is producing the first album of legendary actor Harry Dean Stanton and is also attached to produce several feature film projects.
